Our Services
Uprisen Publishers provides a comprehensive range of professional publishing and author services. These terms apply to all services we offer, including but not limited to:

- Cover DesignProfessional eBook and print cover design, including full wraparound covers for paperback and hardcover books.
- Publishing AssistanceAmazon KDP setup, Apple Books, Google Play, IngramSpark, and multi-platform publishing management.
- eBook ConversionEPUB, MOBI, and KFX file creation and optimization for all major e-reading devices and platforms.
- Metadata OptimizationKeyword research, BISAC category selection, and book description writing for improved discoverability.
- Marketing ServicesAmazon Ads, Facebook & Google advertising, book promotion campaigns, and print marketing materials.
- Related SolutionsAny additional publishing support services agreed upon in writing between Uprisen and the client prior to project commencement.
Orders & Payments
The following payment terms apply to all services. Please review them carefully before placing your order.
Project Commencement
A project begins only once payment or the agreed deposit has been received and confirmed. No work begins before payment is cleared.
Scope-Based Pricing
Prices are quoted based on the agreed scope of work. Your quote reflects the specific deliverables outlined at the start of your project.
Out-of-Scope Requests
Additional requests outside the original scope may incur extra charges. These will be discussed and agreed in writing before any additional work begins.
Final Delivery
All payments must be completed before final project files are delivered — unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon in writing.
Any changes to the agreed payment structure must be confirmed in writing before work begins. Verbal agreements regarding payments are not binding.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth, on-time project delivery, clients are expected to fulfil the following responsibilities. Failure to meet these obligations may affect delivery timelines and final output quality.
Accurate Project Information
Provide complete, accurate details about your project at the outset — including trim size, target platform, format requirements, and any specific preferences.
Final Content Before Production
Submit your complete and finalized manuscript, images, or other content before production begins. Changes to content mid-project may result in additional charges.
Ownership & Permissions
You confirm that you own or have the legal right to use all materials you provide — including text, images, illustrations, and any third-party content incorporated in your book.
Timely Proof Reviews
Review all proofs and provide feedback within the timeframe requested. Delays in approval or missing information may affect your agreed delivery timeline.
Please note: Delays in approvals, late submission of materials, or missing information may affect your project delivery timeline. Uprisen is not liable for timeline extensions caused by the client's failure to fulfil these responsibilities.
Refunds
We are committed to delivering excellent results on every project. Our refund policy reflects the highly customized and time-intensive nature of the professional services we provide.
Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Due to the customized nature of our services, refunds are generally not available once work has begun or completed deliverables have been provided to the client.
- Before Work BeginsIf you cancel your project before any work has commenced, we will discuss a refund of any deposit paid, depending on the circumstances and administrative costs incurred.
- After Work Has BegunOnce production has started, refunds are generally not available. We will always work to resolve any issues through revisions rather than refunds.
- Our Commitment to ResolutionIf you are unhappy with any aspect of your project, please contact us immediately. We will always exhaust revision options before a refund is discussed.

Project Scope
The services provided are strictly limited to the agreed-upon project scope as outlined in your initial quote or project brief. This ensures quality, fairness, and on-time delivery for every client.

- ✦ Extra platforms beyond those originally agreed
Any additional requests, major structural changes, or new files submitted after the project begins will require a new separate quote. We will notify you in advance of any additional costs before proceeding.
Limitation of Liability
Uprisen Publishers works diligently to ensure every project meets the highest professional standards. However, the following limitations apply to our liability regarding the use of delivered files.
We ensure your files meet standard industry specifications for the platforms and formats agreed upon in your project scope.
Uprisen is not liable for printing errors, colour shifts, or binding issues caused by third-party printers, print-on-demand services, or fulfilment partners once our files have been submitted or delivered.
We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or lost revenue resulting from the use of our files by the client or any third party — including losses arising from platform rejection, delayed publication, or market performance.
Our liability is limited, in all circumstances, to the value of the fees paid for the specific service in question.
We guarantee that all files are produced to the agreed specifications and industry standards at the time of delivery. If any file fails a platform's technical requirements due to an error on our end, we will correct and re-deliver it at no additional cost.
